During our 4th Annual Human Trafficking Awareness Week, HRRC launched a new workshop initiative “Shop Smart: An Abolitionist’s Shopping Guide.”
Last year we held the first annual Big Dipper Dash on September 18, 2010. The Big Dipper Dash raised $6,000, which went directly to outreach and educational activities of Houston Rescue and Restore Coalition.

Communities of faith across Greater Houston are invited to participate in our Freedom and Faith Weekend. HRRC will provide places of worship with resources to focus their spiritual teaching/sermons, etc around the issue of modern day slavery during this weekend.
Proceeds from this Fun Run will go directly to outreach and educational activities of Houston Rescue and Restore Coalition, whose mission is to confront modern-day slavery by educating the public, training professionals and empowering the community to take action.
