Currently Texas have only a few programs or shelters aiding in the recovery of child victims of sex trafficking. A local ministry has taken on the challenge to grow the number of programs available to child victims of this crime. “Freedom Place” will be a shelter and a healing home for girls rescued from sex trafficking in the Houston area. Freedom Place has been in progress for two years and is due to open within the next few months. It has space to house about 30 girls who will also attend school on the property.
