Last year we held the first annual Big Dipper Dash on September 18, 2010. The Big Dipper Dash raised $6,000, which went directly to outreach and educational activities of Houston Rescue and Restore Coalition.

The race was held along the Galveston Seawall. We had around 150 participants!

The race T-shirts were made by
survivors of human trafficking in India. Thanks to graphic designer, Kelley Silberberg for designing the shirts!

Thank you Cytosport for your sponsorship donation of muscle milk for our runners!

The after race party was held at NY Pizzeria. We awarded race winners and gave out door prizes. Thanks to our sponsors for providing prizes and food!
