Ten Thousand Villages is a nonprofit, fair trade organization, designed to benefit artisans, not to maximize profits. They market hand-made products (jewelry, toys, musical instruments, household accessories, and Holiday décor) from artisans in low-income countries and provide consumers around the world with products that have been fairly purchased from sustainable resources. Time: You can shop at Ten Thousand Villages all-day, just make sure to indicate that you would like your purchases to benefit HRRC or you can join us from 6:00 – 8:00pm for a Fair Trade coffee and dessert tasting with the HRRC staff.
Where: Ten Thousand Villages, located at 2424A Rice Blvd (located in Rice Village area)
